Grizzly Brewing Co

Most of my work for the past few years has centered around women's fashion, so when an old friend from high school approached me about branding his home-brew, I jumped at the chance to design something without fifty shades of pink!

We met up for coffee and he talked about his vision for the company while I sketched some initial concepts. He and some friends had already come up with their first draft; a wild IPA called "EmancIPAted" (which I thought was pretty dang clever).

The final color scheme involved a nice neutral tan, ashy brown, and a nice vintage mustard.

Every logo needs the flexibility to work in a few different compositions to make marketing a breeze, so I finalized the three layouts above and then worked on the illustrated graphic that would go on the eventual label.

Our idea was to have the bear coming home from the office, rip off his starched, collared shirt, and enjoy a nice cold brew at the end of the day.
